- √Total Disablement:
If the disablement as faced by the insured is permanent in nature, such as loss of limbs or loss of sight or any other, then the insured would be provided with a certain percentage of the capital sum that has been assured by him earlier. This percentage would depend on the table of benefit
- √First 90 Days:
Any illness that occurs to the insured person in as early as the 90 days of the grant of the policy would not be covered under the policy.
- √Preexisting Illness:
IF the illness for which the claim is demanded is that of preexisting in nature, it would not be covered under the Universal Sompo Aapat Suraksha Bima Policy.
- √Intentional Injuries not covered:
If the disablement is caused to the insured person due to his own actions, such as, travelling or fighting or any other reason, they would not be covered.
- √Death after Critical Illness:
IF the death of the insured follows 30 days of the critical illness, it would be covered, but if the death occurs within 30 days, it would not be covered.
